Franklin Wind Energy Group, LLC was established in August of 2008 to market the Intellectual Property (IP) and licensed technology of proven wind systems. Franklin’s founder David Koyle, a pioneer in renewable energy, has acquired the rights to market and distribute the most promising technologies he has discovered in his ten years of evaluating wind turbine technologies and their potential impact on the United States energy system. Prior to the Company’s formation Mr. Koyle conducted extensive wind turbine research and development for several years at the University of Hawaii and for the past six years has served as Adjunct Professor at Wayne State University’s College of Engineering and is regarded as an expert in wind turbine technologies.

Franklin will set a new standard of excellence in small wind generation. We will achieve this by providing clean, reliable and affordable energy harnessed through wind power. We will develop and brand Franklin Wind Turbines as the most innovative and best small wind products in the market. Franklin will be the premier provider of small wind turbine products (under 100kW).

Franklin Wind Energy Group LLC (‘Franklin Wind Energy’) is a Michigan based renewable energy company formed in 2000 that manufactures and markets wind turbines.

During the past decade, Franklin’s principals have had extensive experience with advanced wind turbine technologies and renewable energy. Building on this experience, management intends to build an assembly plant in Michigan to make these turbines faster, less expensive and better with a readily available skilled labor force.

Demand in the small wind market is increasing dramatically each year and we plan to quickly ramp up and become the leading supplier of wind turbines in the US and capture a significant share of the market for wind turbines across a wide range of industrial and consumer markets in “Urban” and “Agricultural” environments.

We plan to develop strong relationships and in some cases joint ventures with key customers so we will be viewed as an indispensable partner, rather than just another supplier. Franklin Wind Energy will seek out and work with manufacturers to improve and deliver the most innovative and efficient wind turbine products possible for our customers.

There is an existing base of high-level manufacturing expertise available in the Midwest Region of America that will provide our Company with the capability of a ‘speed play’ to ramp up quickly with our wind turbine product. We will work closely with each customer as part of the American Reinvestment and Recovery plan to invest in the US. and it’s energy needs.
