Steve Tomba Director of Sales

FRANKLIN, Mich., May 2009 – Franklin Wind Energy Group LLC has named Steve Tomba Director of Sales. David Koyle, Chairman and CEO, made the announcement. In this position, Tomba will oversee day-to-day sales operations of the Franklin Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT), the first small wind turbine of its kind in North America. “Steve is uniquely qualified to lead our sales efforts,” said Koyle. “We are confident in Steve’s ability to help us become the premier provider of leading edge small wind turbines in America.”
Tomba has over 20 years of diverse experience as a sales management professional, selling to Fortune 500 and medium sized companies, in the automotive and manufacturing industries. Analyzing new business development opportunities, strategic alliances and partnerships have made him successful growing companies’ profits. He has strong business acumen and has participated in numerous new product developments of emerging technologies. Strategic and tactical sales methods, from personal selling to website marketing, have brought these products to market.
Tomba graduated from Walsh College with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing. He resides in Bloomfield Hills.
